Rail Ergonomics
Ergowork has assisted Queensland Rail over many years in areas such as rail maintenance manual handling, workshop tasks, train cab design, locomotive and rollingstock access/egress design, traffic management systems (train running, electronic train graphing, control room design, consoles).
Key work in recent times has been the ergonomic and HF aspects of the new generation rollingstock (NGR) in relation to cab ergonomics, sightlines, train running and workload.
Aurizon has also been assisted in regard to control room design, human computer interaction and design reviews of many new items of maintenance rollingstock.
