Ergonomics design & consulting for your workplace

In any workplace, whether a supermarket checkout, a crane cockpit, a construction site or an office, ergonomic design is critical and helps promote best performance and prevent injury.

Ergowork analyses problem tasks and develops effective and practical control measures with procedures and training materials to support the outcome. We will work with fabricators, suppliers, architects or engineers to ensure a practical outcome.

When an external objective assessment is required, Ergowork can assist by performing an objective risk assessment based on up to date research, codes of practice, guides and legislation.

Areas of advice include manual tasks, office ergonomics, work at heights, slip and fall prevention, fatigue, human-computer interaction, mobile plant ergonomics.

Rail is a large area of work, having recently conducted human factors assessments of the driver’s cab in the new generation rollingstock (NGR) trains as well as analysing the Rail Management Centre ergonomics, driver visibility issues, rail traffic management via an electronic train graph (ETG) – all areas previously worked in.
